Coolant Hose O-rings

Many of the new generation BMW's and Mini Cooper's have quick disconnect water hoses. This system utilize an O-ring seal inside the plastic connectors. If you are planning to replace hoses then new O-rings are already included.

If you are only replacing a coolant tank, radiator, or thermostat you should make it a point to replace the hose end "O" rings. If your planning on using the old O-rings you run the risk of have a new leak. O-rings will flat spot over time, or may become damaged in the removal and re installation process.

Note: This small 1" O-ring is typically used on bypass hoses, smaller heater returns, intake preheat, alternator cooling, coolant tank.
