The BMP protective wheel bolt socket is designed for any BMW or Mini Cooper wheel that have extra deep recessed wheel mounting bolts. Using a conventional deep socket will chip or scratch any painted or powder coated wheel. The special Delrin protective sleeve will protect the painted wheel surface when removing even the most stubborn lug bolts. Overall socket length is 85mm with a protective sleeve length of 65mm. The unit is a six point 17mm deep socket designed for any 1/2" drive ratchet or breaker bar. Socket maximum outside diameter is 27 mm. We recommend having one in your tool kit and bringing it to your service shop at scheduled tire rotations.
