Mini Cooper window regulators will typically fail due to the plastic gears teeth damages which causes binding inside the drive system. The electric drive motors will typically not have the power to surpass a bent or damaged plastic gear. The Promini window regulators are an excellent O.E. replacement unit for far less than an original BMW/Mini factory unit. These are the same regulators we use in our BMW/Mini cooper service department.
