The Sprint Booster is a plug & play electronic module that installs in minutes between your accelerator pedal and the vehicles engine control unit (ECU) in vehicles equipped with an electronic throttle control. Also known as a drive-by-wire system, electronically controlled throttle systems are already garnering complaints for lag, lack of sensitivity and overall poor throttle control. In some vehicles the ECU will not allow full throttle, even with the accelerator pedal fully depressed, until a road speed exceeding 35mph is achieved. The Sprint Booster solves these issues by continuously measuring and converting the digital signal sent to the ECU from the accelerator pedal and then altering the signal for increased performance and responsiveness. Installation in most vehicles takes less than 20 minutes and is fully reversible, perfect for lease vehicles.
