The unit is designed to retain the factory oil pressure switch, thus retaining the functionality of the factory oil light on the dash. Installation is easy, the adapter installs between the filter housing and factory oil pressure switch. The sides of the adapter allows you 3 possible choices to install for the aftermarket sending unit. After making your selection install the 2 plugs provided into the remaining holes.
