Selecting a tie down point, without damaging a brake line or backing plate requires that you carefully select a strap point every time you load the race car onto the trailer. The same holds true for securing the vehicle for dyno runs. Securing the vehicle by the Factory tow loops is not good practice, since this does not allow the vehicle's suspension to react to the deviations in the road. A severe dip or bump will compress the vehicle's suspension and loosen or unhook the tie down. Using the Promini racecar tie downs allows the vehicle's suspension to work independently of the trailer, without fear of releasing the vehicle.
