The PROMINI Supercharger pulley removal tool is specifically designed to remove the factory S/C pulley in the confined space of the 02-06 Cooper "S". The compact design allows for easy pulley removal without engine removal. Due to the factory pulley being a press fit a pulley a removal tool is required to avoid damage to the internal components of the supercharger.

In order to access the pulley removal of the inner right plastic fender liner and loosening the right engine mount is required. This allows the engine to be lifted approximately 3 inches. This 3 inch lift allows access to the pulley (see Photo).

Also recommended is purchasing the serpentine belt tensioner tool for quick removal and installation of the drive belt.
