This exact tire gauge is what we use in our service department. They are very accurate, easy to use and read, and require no batteries. The 0 to 60 p.s.i. gauge is divided into one pound increments. The built-in side relief valve allows you to reduce the pressure to the perfect desired air pressure.

I've had one in my personal tool box for over 30 years, and it still works like new. Most vehicles tires operate in the 30-40 pound range. For maximum accuracy you want a gauge that reads (0-60 p.s.i.) a similar pressure range. Digital L.C.D. gauges are difficult to read in sunlight or when batteries are low.
