The MINI Cooper & Cooper S have a 16 pin O.B.D. 2 connection located at the left under dash inside your vehicle. Until recently, retrieving this information was possible only at your authorized BMW dealer. The equipment was cost-prohibitive, and the codes were a closely held secret, guarded by your dealer's service department. The BMP fault code reader will retrieve almost any code. The codes are displayed on a 2 digit electronic display. As an added bonus, the same tool will reset the oil service and inspection service interval lights. The kit includes the electronic reset/code reader and a 20-page instruction and code book.
